			The DreamTree Project is a community led initiative to serve young people in Taos, New Mexico.       OUR MISSION: We believe youth have the right to a compassionate, loving place to grow. The DreamTree Project exists to provide youth with a respectful, loving and safe place for growth and to nurture their potential for becoming independent, positively involved members of their community.

The DreamTree Project is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, community-based organization for homeless, abused, and neglected youth from New Mexico and the surrounding region. We opened our doors in November 2000 with our Transitional Living Program.  It is now 2009 and we have doubled our capacity to house even more youth, with the opening of our Casitas, for youth who are ready for more independent living.  We are also well on our way to providing an emergency shelter as well.
