A letter from the director
I am grateful, proud, and inspired by our team at DreamTree who persevered every day throughout a challenging year, in supporting teens dealing with their daily highs and lows. In response to COVID-19, we expanded to offer shelter and services for adults and families, added more housing for youth, and went out on the streets to help anyone we could find. We deeply appreciate the community funding and support that empowers us to do this work—thank you.
Catherine Hummel, Executive Director
“A youth who has found it challenging to regularly attend school in the past had almost perfect attendance during her month at DreamTree. Now she is set to graduate from the 8th grade and often excited to go to school. The collaboration between the youth, Taos Middle School, DreamTree, her wraparound team, and CYFD played a large part in being able to meet the educational needs of this youth.”
